Let us know a little bit about you! Who you are, how you heard about us(lets me know what ads are effective), what you're interested in, that sort of thing! I'm a 4th year biology major at MUN. I'm a big fan of most Mario games, and can't wait to get a Wii! I heard about this cuz well.. I created it! I had a blast at last year's event, and can't wait for this years! Edit: Ok! For ease of planning, if you could provide answers to the following questions it'd be great! If you don't feel comfortable sharing here, PM me with the answers None of these answers are binding of course, they're just to help us figure things out Are you under/over 19? What hours do you think you'll be able to attend? Will you be able to bring any equipment? (TVs, systems, networking equipment) Do you have any major allergies?

I'm a B.Sc Pure Mathematics graduate from MUN. I've been taking Business courses for the last year. This term, I'll be working with the Canada Revenue Agency full-time, so it'll be my first term off school (summer semesters don't count) since kindergarten. I'm somewhat of a Nintendo fanboy fan (for Chris), and yes, I waited outside overnight on November 19th for my Wii. I've been a member of the Geek Society since September or so, and greatly enjoyed last year's Winter-Een-Mas.
Age: Over 19 (unless I'm like Doogie Howser). Available: Saturday at any time. Equipment: Wii, 4 remotes, 3 nunchuks, 1GB SD card, 3 GC controllers, Nintendo DS, numerous games for Wii, GC, DS, GBA, PS2. Outside of video games, I can bring a DVD player as well. No TV this time, though. Allergies: Dust, mold, pollen, grass seed, some animals, etc. I realize the question is meant for food allergies, but I'm a smartass at heart.

Hey, I'm Chris, a 21 year old student at Academy Canada, major Nintendo Fan, though lately I've been developing a dislike for the term "fanboy" as it suggests an irrational attraction, while I think already on this forum I've shown a tendency toward logic in my opinions (see the Video Games: Battle of the Consoles). I too waited overnight in front of a Wal-Mart for my Wii, and was first in line on opening day.
I'm not a big fan of clubs, so I tend to avoid large public parties, but if I am convinced to show up, almost any time and date will work, as long as there is sufficient notice, (so I guess the end of January would work, LOL). As for bringing equipment, I've got my Wii and my Gamecube, and a small but respectable library for the 'cube (hmm, maybe only 3 or 4 multi-player games come to think of it). Again, don't plan on me, but if I'm there, I'll bring my games ;D. No allergies to speak of, I guess that about covers it.

Hey guys! I'm Blaine. age: 19 Major: B. Eng. in Electrical Engineering at MUN. I'm currently in my second year of studies (first in the faculty) Hours: Opening until closing baby! Bringing: -Playstation 3 -15" CRT garbage TV (hopefully if I can obtain my 37" HDTV with HDMI output and 1080p resolution by then, I'll bring that >_>) -HDMI cable -700m laptop (it has Ubuntu installed though... I would have to change that if anyone wanted to play anything other than stepmania on it ) - Wii equipment - a buttload of PS1 and PS2 games - Resistance: Fall of Man. If anyone else has a PS3 or just a sixaxis controller by any chance, bring them for a LAN war, or if there's a DSL connection in there, better yet we can play online - Nintendo DS: Lite - Metroid Prime: Hunters - Playstation Portable - Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops for the PSP - Guitar Hero 1 and 2 with GH1 controller. If it's to be played though, someone else will have to provide a PS2 because the guitar controller peripheral doesn't work with the PS3 - All my memory cards with mad loads of maxed data on them for all my games - Halo, Halo 2, Dead or Alive 4, Dead or Alive: Ultimate - Bunch of Gamecube games Anything else needed is available upon request. I just don't wanna bring all my stuff unless needed

P.S: Yeah, I camped the Wii also I was first in line at Futureshop I tried camping the PS3 also, but it was kind of packed already because people had been waiting for 2 full days for it >_> Anyway, no worries as on the day of launch I called up the Wal-Mart in Carbonear to find that they hadn't sold either of their 2 copies, so picked it up Carbonear never sells any of their gaming stuff luckily =D

Hello! My name is Stephen, and I'm a first year Masters of Physics student here at MUN. I heard about the event from your website, and your website from your posters, however the story of that is on your OTHER forums, asking (geek to geek) for membership in your fine clan, er... guild... SOCIETY.
I'm a few years over 19 (23)
If I can figure out where this place is (pretty new to town) I'll be there as many hours as I possibly can stand you people. Or before I get tossed out, whatever.
Unfortunately, I can't offer any equipment as of yet as I don't know if I can lug it that far. I WILL be bringing my DS and various games for it. I will also be dragging my addiction with me: BOARD GAMES, and lots of them.
Settlers of Catan Carcassonne Masons Lost Cities Metro Queen's Necklace Bohnanza (plus two of its expansions) Chez Geek (plus one of its expansions) Stand at Mortain Smear Falling Decks upon decks of cards Possibly enough dice and cups to play liars dice
I'm also willing to run a few werewolf games if there is any interest.
Also if anyone is interested I can bring all of the TMF yearmixes. Any euromusic geeks will know what I'm talking about.
Don't worry I know all these games well and WILL be teaching them to whoever wants to listen.
My major allergies include stupid or stuck up people. But I think if I'm among geeks I'll be safe ^_^
